Organic Gardening

I'm so excited; last Friday I attended my first class of a Fall Gardening 8 Week Organic Vegetable Course from Garden Inspirations. This all came about in an unexpectd way, but it's a good thing for me and my garden. I started my garden last fall and had some success with it so decided to expand it this year. While it's doing all right I couldn't help think that I could be doing things better, and along come mother and daughter team Marilyn and Donelle Simmons with real practical help.

The Dallas classes are held in the casual and inviting atmosphere of Donelle's living room near lower Greenville Ave. and Henderson on Friday nights for 8 weeks.  This course covers picking a garden location, types of crops, seeds, soil, how to amend your soil to make it work for you, garden friends and foes, vegetables, and so much more to make your Texas garden a success. I look forward to sharing how this class helps me make better choices in my garden and hope it will help you too.
